The main reasons for the fuse of an electric vehicle to blow are as follows:

Circuit overload: When the current in the electric vehicle circuit exceeds the rated current that the fuse can withstand, the fuse will blow. This usually happens when the electric vehicle runs for a long time, the battery ages and causes the internal resistance to increase, or the motor and other electrical components fail and cause the current to increase abnormally.

Circuit short circuit: A direct connection occurs between two or more different potential points in the circuit, resulting in excessive current, which blows the fuse. This situation may be caused by aging of the line, loose joints, damaged insulation or internal failure of the electrical components.

Battery failure: Internal short circuit of the battery or abnormal connection between battery packs may also cause excessive current and blow the fuse. In addition, battery aging, improper charging and discharging, or battery management system failure may also put pressure on the fuse.

External factors: If the electric vehicle is affected by external factors such as impact, water splashing or high temperature during driving, it may cause a short circuit or damage to the circuit, causing the fuse to blow.

Fuse quality issues: If there are quality issues with the fuse itself, such as inaccurate rated current marking, substandard materials, or poor manufacturing processes, the fuse may also blow under normal current.

Modification or improper use: Non-professional modification of electric vehicles, such as adding electrical components, changing the circuit layout, or increasing the power, may increase the circuit load, thereby exceeding the fuse's carrying capacity. In addition, using an unmatched charger or charging for a long time may also cause the fuse to blow.
