1. Normal working conditions.

1.1 Ambient air temperature (Ta)

The ambient air temperature does not exceed 40°C, and the average value measured within 24 hours does not exceed 35°C.

The ambient air temperature is not lower than -5°C.

1.2 Altitude.

The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 1000m.

1.3 Atmospheric conditions.

The surrounding air is not polluted by dust, smoke, corrosive and/or combustible gases, steam or salt spray.

The average relative humidity of the surrounding air within 24 hours does not exceed 95%, and the average monthly relative humidity does not exceed 90%.

The average value of the water vapor pressure of the surrounding air measured within 24 hours does not exceed 2.2kPa, and the average value of the monthly water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8kPa.

In this case, condensation may occasionally occur.

1.4 Installation conditions.

Vibration or ground movement outside the switchgear and control equipment can be ignored.

The fuse can be installed in the workplace vertically, horizontally or obliquely, without significant vibration and shock vibration.

Note: If the conditions of the fuse are different from those specified in Chapter 1, consult with the manufacturer.

The second is technical requirements.

2.1 Technical requirements.

The fuse should meet the requirements of this standard and be manufactured in accordance with the approved patterns and technical documents of the prescribed procedures.

The fuse joint should be firmly combined with the fuse pipe, and no looseness or sand leakage; all fastening screws should take anti-loosening measures.

2.2 Structural requirements.

2.2.1 Replace the fuse.

The fuse should be able to replace the fuse easily and safely. The fuses (pieces) of the same family series should be interchangeable.

Under the conditions of use and operation, the fixed connection should be able to maintain the necessary contact pressure.

2.2.2 Fuse contacts.

Between the fuse contacts (between the fuse base contacts and the fuse contacts), it should be ensured that there is a necessary contact pressure under the conditions of use and movement, especially under the specified breaking conditions, to ensure a good electrical connection .

The structure and material of the fuse contact should maintain good contact under normal installation and use conditions:

e) After repeated disassembly and assembly;

After using for a long time without disassembly.

2.2.3 Arrangement of fuse.

For multi-phase fuses, when the distance between phases is not determined by the structure, the distance between phases of the fuse is not less than 180 mm.

Note: The fuse used under special conditions is negotiated and determined by the user and the manufacturer.

2.2.4 Requirements for impactors.

The fuse equipped with the impactor (the fuse (piece) of the impactor) operates reliably.

Note: Indoor 12KV high voltage fuse.
